How long has MDB Technology Solutions been in operation?
MDB was incorporated in March 2000. We also acquired
York Solutions, another Oracle Consulting Company in 2003
that was established in 1998.

Are MDB’s consultants employed by MDB or do you just
sub-contract them from other companies?
Most of our consultants are MDB employees. However, our primary
concern is providing our client with a consultant who has
the right background and skillset for the clients needs. There
are times when to do this we work with independent consultants
– most of our independent consultants have long histories
of delivering projects for MDB and everyone has to undergo
the same vigorous hiring process to work on a project for
MDB.
What sort of screening process do your consultants go through
before you hire them?
Every candidate is subject to a multi-part interview process.
Firstly, the consultant will be interviewed by one of our
Senior Recruiters. The consultant must have great people and
communication skills. Once a candidate has successfully completed
the first interview, he/she will undergo an extensive technical/functional
interview with one of our Senior Consultants. We will also
review source code (for developers) to ensure it is clean,
easy to understand and complies with application standards.
What releases of Oracle Applications do you have experience
with?
We have experience with all releases of 11i to 11.5.9 and
11.5.10.
What types of positions do you fill?
We can fill most types of Oracle, Oracle Applications, Peoplesoft

What sorts of projects do you work on?
Pretty much anything that is Oracle, Oracle Applications,
PeopleSoft or Siebel related, including implementations, upgrades,
support, custom development and integration.
Is there anything else that makes MDB a unique choice in today's
market?
We are very conscious of our client’s time and project
deadlines. We understand that often our clients need an urgent
resource to keep a project on track. With this in mind, we
initially submit our top three candidates for each position.
We strive to get candidate's resumes to our clients within
a forty eight hour time period. Typically our clients will
interview all three candidates and will call us to say what
a difficult decision we have given them as all three candidates
were well qualified to do the job.
